Account & data

Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Pickle account and its synced data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

1

Delete in the Pickle app

The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the app, where the request is verified and processed for you.

  1. Open Pickle and go to Settings.
  2. Select Delete account.
  3. Confirm with your password when prompted.
  4. Pickle removes your cloud data, then signs you out and clears the account's data from the device.

No longer have the app?

If you can't sign in or have already removed Pickle, you can request deletion without reinstalling. Use the contact form and include the email address on your account so we can verify and locate it. We'll confirm by email once your account and its data have been removed.

Request account deletion

What deletion removes

  • Your Firebase Authentication account, including your email and sign-in credentials
  • Synced name decisions, favorites, collections, custom names, saved filters, and preferences
  • Your partner connection, mutual matches, and any pending invitations
  • Push-notification registrations for your account
  • Account-linked rate-limit and upload records
  • Personally identifying content from any prior support requests
  • The account's local database on the device you delete from

What may remain

  • A minimal deletion-job record kept briefly for retry and completion accounting
  • Deidentified aggregate popularity totals, which can no longer be linked back to your account
  • Information held by providers such as Apple or Google under their own retention policies

Using Pickle without an account?

Guest data — your picks, favorites, collections, and preferences — is stored only on your device and is never linked to an account. Deleting the app, or clearing its data in your device settings, removes it. There is no account for us to delete.

For more detail on what Pickle stores and how deletion works, see the Privacy Policy.
